Position: Technical Support Engineer (L2)
An advanced understanding of technical issues, both hardware and software.
A broad understanding of networking technologies both wired and wireless. Port level troubleshooting of Switches and data cabling knowledge.
Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, data network and Basic server management.
Experiences in installation and configuration of Windows 7, Windows 8.1 & Windows 10 as well as the support experience and knowledge of MS Office 2013 or 2016 (mandatory).
Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN (Ethernet TCP/IT etc.) and related experience (mandatory).
Effective communication skills via phone and email in English are mandatory.
Possess and demonstrates strong logical-thinking skill, full of intellectual curiosity and high desire for self-development. Ability to come to the best solution by capturing the big picture instead of focusing only on the minor details/issues which only affect us/clients in a short run.
Creating KEDB articles as required and adding to the KEDB repository, Excellent Documentation Skill Required.
Incident, Request Fulfilment, Event Management as part of a 24x7 operations team.
Assist in Major Incident investigations to determine and remove the underlying root causes.
Performs regular daily checks in a timely and scheduled manner, logs, resolves or escalates as required.
Â· Knowledge in DNS & DHCP (IP Scope)
Â· Knowledge of Domain, DNS, DHCP,SMTP,TCP/IP/POP3/IMAP
Â· Knowledge of connectivity device Router, firewall, Switches, Wi-Fi access point, Physical Connectivity & VPN.
Perform advanced software repair and installations on customer computers by troubleshooting via remote service tools.
Undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of client problems.
Escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate area.
Log, troubleshoot and track problems.
Perform special assignments as required.
Perform daily and weekly administrative tasks as required.
Work effectively in a team environment and help others where needed.
Maintain high level of delivery in order to meet SLAs.
Maintain computer peripheral devices and all inventory.
